Essential Ideas is the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation’s 14th annual forum around ideas and research on some of the most pressing issues of our time. Plenary sessions and small group discussions will maximize interactions and learning among informed citizens, decision makers, thinkers, and practitioners. The 2017 forum will feature thinkers supported by the Foundation and external experts.

Essential Ideas: Exit survey

A little over one in four participants of the Foundation’s 14th annual forum answered our survey asking what they liked, what they didn’t like, and what we could do better next time. A few highlights: 

  • Two thirds of respondents applauded Foundation scholars, fellows, and mentors for figuring so prominently.
  • 92% of respondents were most inspired by the session on Indigenous Future Imaginary.
  • Several respondents recommended more diversity in future editions.
