Gwenola Appéré is the Program Officer, Communication and Public Interaction at the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation.

Before joining the Foundation, Gwenola was Communications and Public Relations Officer at the Raoul Dandurand Chair in Strategic and Diplomatic Studies at Université du Québec à Montréal for four years. In 2013, she received a Gold Award of Excellence from the Société québécoise des professionnels en relations publiques for the communications plan developed for an event on the night of the 2012 U.S. presidential election.

For more than 10 years, Gwenola has been working in communications and project management for multiple organizations in Quebec and internationally, mainly in the cultural, civil society and diplomatic sectors. Her professional career has taken her to work and live in various parts of the world including France, the United Kingdom, Morocco and Nicaragua.

Gwenola holds a Master's degree in cultural management from Université de Bourgogne (France), a Bachelor’s degree in development and cultural projects communication from Université d’Avignon (France), and she is a graduate from Université de Bretagne Occidentale (France) in business communication. She has also completed a certificate in public relations at Université de Montréal.
