Retired since July 2006 from his position of senior counsel at the law firm of Stikeman Elliott in Montreal, the Honourable Marc Lalonde specialized in international commercial arbitration. Between 1968 and 1984 he served as Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Trudeau, Minister of Health and Welfare, Minister of Federal-Provincial Relations, Minister of Justice, Minister of Energy, Mines and Resources and Minster of Finance. Mr. Lalonde has been and remains actively involved in a number of Canadian and international organizations.
