Natalka Haras


Director of Development - on parental leave

As the Director of Development, Natalka Haras is responsible for refining and growing the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation’s fundraising programs: working with the Foundation community – leadership, donors, volunteers, and staff – to support the Foundation’s mission and strategic vision.

Before joining the Foundation, Natalka led the advancement team at McGill University’s Faculty of Law. She has also worked and volunteered with other universities, museums, and arts, culture, youth leadership, newsgathering, and international development organizations in Canada, the United States, France, Belgium, and Ukraine. She serves on the Board of the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Québec Division and advocates for youth living with uncommon congenital conditions.

Natalka holds an M.A. in International Affairs from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University and a joint B.A. in History and International Studies from Huron University College at Western University. Natalka is a lawyer, with degrees in civil and common law from McGill University. Before embracing a career in the world of philanthropy, Natalka practiced administrative and public law, as well as employment litigation, at a global law firm’s Toronto office.
